Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma

Kaizen: The kaizen methodology is a critical tool supporting PlasTat in our systematic approach towards continued operational improvement. Throughout our workflow process critical team members are brought together to access progress. Participants determine the appropriate measures to eradicate inefficiency and implement the necessary actions to improve productivity.

Lean Manufacturing: Our collaborative client relationship with Toyota, the innovator of the Lean Methodology, allowed us to discover early on the tremendous potential employing lean manufacturing had on the elimination of waste, increased productivity, and the reduction of operational costs. Lean thinking has allowed us to improve overall efficiencies and better position ourselves in today’s competitive global marketplace.

Six Sigma: PlasTat takes assessment of our entire operational program by utilizing Six Sigma statistical analysis to address critical organizational performance issues. The data from operations, engineering, manufacturing, and turnkey assembly processes are thoroughly tracked and optimized to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, and formulate strategic business decisions. By overcoming day-to-day operational challenges we are better able to serve our clients while improving our bottom line.
